Your loved one's voice, without the punishing cost.
Prison calls to mobiles cost up to 25p per minute. We give you a virtual landline number that forwards straight to your phone — so your family member pays landline rates instead. Talk more. Spend less.
The UK's prison phone system is stacked against families. Here's exactly what you're dealing with — and why it doesn't have to be this way.
📱
Mobiles are expensive to call
UK prisons charge 13p–25p per minute to call a mobile. A 15-minute daily call adds up to £100–£180 every month coming straight out of your loved one's limited prison earnings.
⏰
Calls get cut short because credit runs dry
When the money runs out mid-sentence, the line goes dead. Important conversations — about family, mental health, legal matters — end abruptly because of a broken pricing system.
🏠
Nobody has a landline anymore
The prison system was designed around home landlines, but most families gave up their BT line years ago. You shouldn't have to get one just to receive calls.
💬
Family contact reduces reoffending
Studies consistently show that prisoners who maintain strong family contact are significantly less likely to reoffend upon release. Every missed call has a cost that goes beyond money.

Why we built this
Communication isn't a luxury. It's a lifeline.
Research shows that prisoners who maintain strong family connections are significantly less likely to reoffend after release. We exist to remove the financial barrier to that connection.
📞
Why calls are so expensive
UK prisons use a legacy BT payphone system that charges premium rates to mobile numbers. It was never updated as landlines disappeared from most homes.

Questions & answers
Everything you need to know before you sign up.
How quickly will I get my landline number?
Almost immediately. Once your payment is confirmed, your virtual landline number is emailed to you — usually within minutes. There's no waiting for hardware or engineer visits.
Do I need any special equipment or apps?
No. You don't need a physical landline, a special handset, or any app. Calls forward directly to your existing mobile number and ring just like a normal incoming call.
Does it work at every prison?
Yes — any UK prison that uses the standard PIN phone system. That covers all prisons in England, Scotland, and Wales. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll confirm before you sign up.
What if the prisoner is moved to another prison?
Your number travels with them. Approved PIN numbers are automatically carried over when a prisoner transfers throughout their sentence — no new subscription needed.
How much do the calls cost the prisoner?
Around 6–8p per minute to call our landline number, versus 13–25p per minute to call a mobile directly. That's up to 80% cheaper, so their limited credit goes four to five times further.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No contract, no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by completing our cancellation form. Service stops at the end of your billing period with no penalties.
What if a prison officer removes the number from the PIN list?
It occasionally happens. If the prison refuses to reinstate it, we'll issue a new number at no extra cost — so you're never left without a connection.
What if my payment fails?
Your landline number will be temporarily paused until the balance is cleared. Payments automatically retry after a few days, and your number reactivates immediately once cleared.
